I’ve always been fascinated by money—not just how to earn it, but how to make it work for you. Even as a child, I was the one diligently recording every dollar in a notebook, curious about how small decisions could shape a bigger picture.

That curiosity led me to complete a Diploma in Financial Planning and spend more than seven years working in wealth management. Along the way, I learnt how consistent, practical habits could transform someone’s life.

When I became a mum, I knew I wanted my own kids to grow up confident with money—especially as girls finding their way in the world. Nineteen years ago, I began investing both for and alongside my eldest daughter, and later did the same for my second daughter. We talked openly about saving, investing, and spending. These everyday conversations became the foundation for their financial knowledge, showing them that money is a tool for independence, security, and choice.

On her 18th birthday, I handed my eldest daughter a fully grown investment portfolio. That moment was emotional and incredibly empowering because she wasn’t simply given money—she had played an active role in creating it. And most importantly, she understood how to make money work for her.

Today, through Good With Money and my Money Smart Kids: $30K Plan, I’m passionate about helping other individuals and families create that same sense of security and empowerment. Because with the right guidance, anyone can feel informed, capable, and ready to build a life they love.
